Redemption

I walked past the 80 districts of the north. I headed straight for the outlands. I walked with my hands behind my head thinking. I entered the outlands. I kept walking toward a group of trees.

I headed toward the middle of the trees. The sun was high overhead. It burned brightly in the sky. I sat up under the tree with my hands behind my head. I began to think.
What is my life coming to?

I remembered my last battle quite well. It was epic and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was also the 1st time that I'd ever lost control. My zans really were upset. I remembered the power that I had felt. It was incredible.

I brought my hands out in front of me.
To think that I could do all of that.
I was scared of my own power. It was something that I'd not want to go through with again.

I stood up.
I will never use that power again. It is too uncontrollable. I won't ever lose control like that again.
I turned and punched the tree. The tree was instantly destroyed before my might.

I looked at the other trees around me. They were about half my size in thickness and about a few feet taller.
These trees are too weak. But trees are weak against me anyways.
I unsheathed my claws from my bionic arms.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I let it out slowly. I repeated this action a few times. I let the soft sweet breeze drift into my nose. It was quite peaceful out here. I slowly let out another breath.

I opened my eyes slowly. I looked at the trees around me. I counted 11. There were 3 in a triangle formation around me. Then another triangle outside of that. The last 5 were in a star shape outside of that. I spinned with my claws and chopped down the 1st 3 trees.

I jumped a few feet off the ground. I spinned horizontally and flipped at the same time. As I came back down, I zipped in a triangle shape at each tree. I chopped each 1 down.

I stood straight up. The only trees left in this little area were the 5 in a star pattern. They were a few feet apart.
This will be a good time to test my accuracy.
I retracted my claws and stood directly in the middle of the trees.

I pointed my left hand at 1 tree. I shot a stream of lightning at the tree. It was reduced to ash. I pointed my right hand at another tree. I shot a stream of fire. The tree instantly vaporized under the flames intensity.

There were now 3 trees left. I spread my wings wide and shot powerful arcs of reishi from my feathers by flapping my wings. It hit the tree directly in front of me and destroyed it. I turned and held pointed my hands at the last 2 trees. I fired a blast at each of them and they were destroyed.

I stood there and sighed. I turned and looked straight up at the sky. I spread my wings to their fullest length. I jumped straight into the sky and began to beat my wings. I flew away from the outlands and back to the Seiretai.
