*Rizu looked over at Tachi and matched her pace to his.* I should have been wearing it...you see, before I was Captain, I was Captain Koga Wolf's lieutenant. He recently disappeared from the Soul Society and...I've refused to wear my own haori. They came to me with his in my office the other day and I guess today I just...I didn't feel ready to wear it. *She smiles softly, chuckling quietly.* Before running into you I was thinking about it and had resolved to go back to the barracks and put it on.

Tachi nodded as she spoke, understanding what she was saying. That must be sad, him leaving. Tachi wondered briefly if she was hurt by it. It made sense why should wouldn't where the Haori though. In his mind, Tachi kicked himself. He shouldn't have asked- It was personal. "I think.... I think that's a good idea. To face the fears, regrets, pain or whatever you have. To put it on and wear it proudly. Rizu-san, you're the captain. It's yours now. It won't help if..." Tachi bit his lip. "It won't help if you keep calling it his."

*As Tachi spoke, Rizu slowed down her pace and looked at her feet a moment. She nodded, smiling ever so slightly.* ...You're right, Tachi-kun. You're right. *She laughs softly, shaking her head to herself and lifts her hand up and places it gently on his head.* Thank you.

Tachi laughs silently and then smiles at her, sincerely. Taking his hand off of her sleeve he pats her shoulder gently, looking up at her. "You should go do it, Rizu-san." He frowned at the prospect of her leaving, but knew it was the right thing to do. He gave her a goofy smile, "Besides, if I stay away for too long, I probably won't even be allowed to take the final."

*Rizu nodded and placed a hand on top of his and smiled.* You're right. If you like, I can go back with you and speak to your teacher. Nobody will upset you if I have anything to say about it.

Tachi smiles up at her innocently, nudging her hand with his head and then tapping her shoulder. "No, no. It's fine. I've dealt with him before.. This isn't anything new to us. I'll get in trouble but he won't do anything more than that." He gave her a brave smile and then took a step back, winking at her. "Besides, I can take a little yelling. You go do captain stuff." Laughing shortly, he turned and ran back towards the academy.

*As Tachi turns around and runs off, Rizu reaches her hand out to protest and then retracts it, smiling. With a chuckle, she waves after him.* I will, Tachi-kun. Take care of yourself. *She turns around and starts walking towards the squad 12 barracks.*
