The Meeting

I awake in a bright room. I was in a white bed in a medium-sized all white room. I was dazed some and couldn't quite remember what had happened to me. I looked around. Beside me was another bed. In that bed was another figure. I didn't know who it was. I put my hand to my chest and there was my crystal necklace.
Where am I?

Fukaku was fast asleep, though, with a troubled look on his face. He appeared to be in some sort of nightmare, as his face had an expression of agony. "Zain..." could be faintly heard from him, as he turned. a few seconds later, the face held an expression of only anger. "Shinigami...!" could be heard. Finally, Fukaku awoke, looking around. "Where is this? some sort of hospital?" He asked, looking around.

I look over toward the figure. He had been saying stuff while he was sleeping.
I don't know. I guess so. I don't remember whats happened to me. Its all just fuzzy.
I attempt to sit up. My body hurt and my stomach was wrapped up. I turn back toward the figure.
So who are you?

"Nayamasa Fukaku." Fukaku tells Itami. "So, you're the shinigami Zain lost his life for..." Fukaku says, no anger apparent in his voice.

I turn away.
I don't know what you are talking about. nobody risked their life for me. last thing I remember is that I was at my mother's house. She gave me this crystal necklace.
I look down.
Everything after that is just a fuzzy blur.

"If no one had risked their life for you, Zain would still be alive, and I wouldn't have lost to the same shinigami twice in a row." Fukaku says, a slight bit of anger present in his voice, but slightly extinguished. "If you don't remember, I'll remind you. you were attacked by a shinigami of the gotei 13. As Zain and I came to assist, the shinigami called in back-up of his own. the two third seats came after myself and Zain, and you were attacked by one of their subordinates. I myself was defeated after that shinigami...Koga.... used his shikai on me. Zain was killed by another of a similar level of power. you kept a stalemate with that last shinigami, until the one who killed Zain finished you off. We were brought here shortly after, by persons unknown, with tremendous power. does that refresh that ailing memory of yours?"

I listen to his tale. I kept trying to remember, but to no avail.
I... I am truly sorry for your lost. I wouldn't have wanted anything like that to have happened, but I don't remember anything of which you speak of. I'm sorry and if what you say is in fact the truth than I would be in your debt.

"..." Fukaku says nothing more on the subject, instead coming to a sitting position. "This seems like Karakura town, from the native Reishi. I'd say we're in some sort of hospital." Fukaku looks around. "and not an active one, either."

You're probably right.
I attempt to sit up, but pain shoots from my stomach and sprouts all over my body. It causes me to start shaking and I begin to cough.
Gah! What happened to me?

oh, your internal organs were lacerated by claws in such a way that it surprises me you're still alive. It was rather disgusting to watch." Fukaku says. "What a bestial way of fighting, that shinigami had."

Grr I'll kill whoever did this to me. But seeing this your words must have some truth to them.
I put my hand on my stomach and wince.
I guess it wouldn't be bad to tell you. The reason I was able to survive was because I have a certain ability in my shikai state. Its called High Speed Regeneration. It has come in handy quite a few times.

"High speed regeneration... traditionally, isn't that a hollow ability? I best watch this one..." Fukaku thinks, somewhat surprised. "I see...." Fukaku says. "Zain gave his life for your sake, you know... I hope you were worth it..."

"I will hold you to that oath, at the very least. You best make good on your word, however." Fukaku said. "In the meantime, I best get to training. if I can't beat a shinigami of the gotei 13 the way I am now, I shall simply have to improve my abilities further. If not, bringing them down will be a problem."

I enter the room and lean against the door way my rei output at a student level possibly. "welcome back to the land of the living gentlement." i place my hand on the three blades at my side mine the hollows that was slain and the other blade i retrieved. "I suppose you are curious as to why i saved you?"

I turn to the figure standing in the doorway.
So you're our knight in shining armor huh. Looks like we owe you.
I try to smirk, but pain shoots through my body and I grab my stomach.
Ughh my regeneration should have been taken care of this.

"I am quite interested in that fact. First, though, I'd like to know who you are." Fukaku says, noting his blades. shifting slightly, he realized that the figure before him had reiatsu that appeared to be at an incredibly low level.'This is the guy that beat that shinigami? What's going on here?" Fukaku thought.

I lok at them both. "welcome to my base. I am Ajiro Minamoto, I am the Ronin commander and ex captain of the 12th Division." I look at agent and grin. "Nothing is as it seems at any point in tiem, always be alert child. I take zains blade and spin it in my hand slowly.

I look up. He was spinning a blade in his hand. The rei from it seemed familiar. I focused on it and remembered.
I remember. I REMEMBER.
I look at ajiro and then I look back at the sword. My eyes begin to glaze over. I become angered. I can feel my crystal necklace trying to push my rei back.
That sword. Where did you get that sword? WHEREEEE!!!
I launch myself off the bed. Ignoring the pain from my stomach. I throw my right arm back and dive at Ajiro. My fist was clenched tight and my anger boosting my strength.

"Don't, you fool!" Fukaku yells, trying to grab a capsule to dind Itami with, before realizing they weren't on him. "Damnit..." Fukaku swears, feeling he was about to see another friend die. reiatsu or no reiatsu, an ex captain would be far beyond their level, he knew.

I as u leap at me time seems to freez as the blade is sheathed. i hold my finger out to your head as you colide with it you are pushed back hard and far the ground where i stand cracking. "Never, do that again." I look at fukaku. "and i assume your much wiser than he is?" I toss him his belt and items.

I hit the ground hard. The breath leaving my body and my eyes and anger leaving. I look up at him.
I am sorry. I can't control my anger and the angrier I become the more I lose control of my entire being. Its just that, there are 3 people that I'm bonded to in this world. My brother Dami who was killed. My mother, and Zain. When I saw you holding his sword I lost total control.
I look down and realize that my stomach is bleeding, but I ignore it.
Please may I have Zain's sword.

I'm not foolish enough to attack an ex-captain, particularly after that show you gave us the first time I saw you. Certainly not one who appears to have healed my injuries." Fukaku says, grabbing his items.as he is putting on his shoulder strap, and checking the capsules on it, he asks "But it would be nice to know why you bothered saving us. It doesn't seem as though there is much in it for you to do so."

I nod to fukaku. "wise boy." I look at itami and as he blinks both zains zan and the other zan are heading towards each of his shoulders. "i saved your life i believe you owe me now."

I feel the zans each pinning me against the wall by going through my shoulders. The force of it once again knocking my breath away and causing a new wave of blood to come from my stomach and blood starts to drip from my shoulders. I look up. My teeth bared.
What was that for?
