Final Exam: Graduation Day

Kyousuke journeys out into the Rukongai, his mind crammed with thoughts running a mile a minute. He proceeded onward, venturing deep into the forest Koga Wolf spake of. And there in the distance, just as was foretold, a large pillar of light stretched into the heavens. His expression hardened, his hands balling into fists at his sides.

'That's it.' He assures himself, mentally preparing himself for his task.

Finally, when he was several yards away, he vanishes in a shunpo technique - reappearing in the opening the Captain mentioned; the light illuminating the battleground. This was it. He was ready...

Koga appeared out of no where behind Kyosuke,being silent and careful.
Koga stands right behind Kyosuke.
"BOO!!"
Koga yells in order to break Kyosuke's concentration
"You seemed far to concentrated."

Curiously, he was unable to sense the Captain's presence behind him; however, his instincts were trained for surprises, so the voice sounding behind him didn't have him scurrying into the trees. Although, he was surprised he hadn't felt him coming. Looking over his shoulder, he stared at the Captain rather perplexed.

"Should I not be, sir?" He asks him, trying to decipher why, even though he was so close, he couldn't sense his reiatsu...

"Man you no fun ya know."
Koga says with a sigh.
"Oh well time to get ready I suppose."
Koga shunpoes backwards and stands,his voice different,more serious.
"Let the test begin."
Koga says as he puts his hands behind his head.

Swallowing a lump in his throat, Kyousuke nods at the Captain. He reaches his right hand around to his left side, wrapping his fingers around his sword and slowly drawing it free from its sheath. He fell into his stance, parting his legs and bending his knees. He relaxed his arms and turns his wrists into his sword, giving hil a firm, but calm grip.

Koga grins and shunpoes behind the student and kicks his right leg at his right side.
Koga at a moment after kicks up his left leg to his left side.
Koga puts his hands on the ground,over his head to keep both legs up.
Koga then lets go and as soon as his legs hit the ground he shunpoes back to his original spot.

A gasp catches in Kyousuke's breath as the Captain vanished from view. Then, in his peripheral, he saw the Captain's leg approaching him on the right, which he blocks using the broad end of his sword. Before he could counter, he felt a blow land in his left side, "Nggh!" The blow staggers him, but fades quickly. Spinning back around, he fails to locate the Captain.

'I can't sense when he's coming!' He thought frantically, 'Why?!?'

Turning back around, he finally locates Captain Wolf standing in the same spot as befote, as though he had never moved...

"Are you okay over there?"
Koga asks tilting his head.
"You got in your stance then you like staggered a little or something. Do I need to send you to Squad 4?"
Koga asks,head still tilted.
"Anyways come at me if your fine."

Kyousuke concentrates on the Captain, ignoring his demeaning remarks. He was determined to prove himself to the him, and charged him directly as encouraged. He knew this wasn't going to be easy. Asd he neared Captain Wolf, he shunpos at about 60 feet, reappearing off to the Captain's right side, slicing his blade toward his waist.

Koga jumps up in the air,tucking in his knees,the bottom of his feet catch onto the blade and Koga just stands on the blade.
"Hmm you almost had that. I swear if I was at your level you would just destroy me."
Koga said with a smile.
Koga twisted his waist and put his right leg in front of him.
Koga with a spin kicked at Kyosuke's head.

Kyousuke concentrates quietly on the Captain as he stands on the blade of his Asauchi; the formless blade entrusted to the Academy students to teach them the value of the Zanpakuto. He didn't wait this time, ducking his head under his leg and pulling his blade in hopes of knocking him off-balance as he comes around with a roundhouse of his own.

As Kyosuke moves the blade Koga grins and jumps off the sword.
Koga lands a front flip and looks over his shoulder.
"Common Kyosuke you still have to push me into my shikai."
Koga yawns and stretches his arms bordly.

While the Captain is in mid-sentence, Kyousuke springs up into the air, twisting his body to deliver a swift, spinning back kick at his jaw.

Koga even with his eyes closed with his yawn can sense Kyosuke coming.
"Not good enough."
Koga says as he bring his left hand down to push the kick toward the ground.
With that motion Koga stepped to the right so that the kick wouldn't hit his body.
Koga hoped Kyosuke would be thrown off balance by the swipe and lifted his left knee to where Kyosuke's face should come from,letting gravity influence the force of Kyosuke's face falling towards his knee.

Kyousuke felt as though his leg had been smacked with a 2X4 as it was deflected away harmlessly. With his body still in mid-spin, he was unable to catch himself in time; his face coming down hard over the Captain's raised knee.

His face bounces off his leg as blood sprays from his mouth, 'I bit my damn tongue.' He tells himself while his body bends backwards and his face slides off his leg, leaving him in a knelt position before his opponent...

"Ouch.That seems like it would hurt."
Koga says with a lil disgust on his face.
"Thats why I try to not use my tongue when I fight. Works wonders ya know."
Koga says with a shrug and takes a few steps backwards to give himself some space.

Kyousuke rises back to his feet, his sword at the ready. His expression hardened intensely as a dark purple and black cloud began to shroud him. His grip tenses against the hilt as he suddenly vanishes in a shunpo; winding up several feet above the Captain with his sword raised above his head. He makes a fierce slash at the nerve in his lower neck, which would force him to lose feeling in his right arm and shoulder if successful...

Koga raises his right hand to block the attack,his hand behind his back.
Koga fires a hado 33 silently from his right hand,taking the sword hitting his hand if it survived the attack.
"Simple manuvauers around my body won't help you Kyosuke."
Koga shunpoes behind Kyosuke and spin kicks his right leg at the left side of the leg.

Kyousuke's blade was suddenly met with the force of a Hado 33: Sokatsui.

'He never used the incantation.' He notes as his progress was brought to a sudden halt.

He refused to abandon the effort though, pushing his strength into his sword in order to cut right through it to hit his mark. However, this effort was halted as he felt an agonizing jolt in his left leg, informing him that Captain Wolf was behind him now. He groans from the blow before performing a shunpo off to the side and out of the path of the Hado; leaving the Captain in it's place instead.

Koga holds out his left hand at the hado and the attack barely phases Koga.
Koga has a very small skin burn on the left hand as his hand stays in place,Koga using his skin to collect back some of the reishi in the attack.
"Hmm smart shunpoe there."
Koga says with a smile.
"I suppose I should use my zanpaktou now."
Koga said as he drew a sheathed zanpaktou with his left hand,ignoring the scratch from the buurn in his left hand.

Kyousuke stands ready on the air, watching the Captain carefully. He wasn't sure at all what to expect; no one within the Academy seemed to know a thing about his zanpakuto. Others claimed they had never even seen it. It looked as though he was about to find out. He waited anxiously, studying Captain Wolf...

Koga looks up in the sky as he talks.
"You know. My zanpaktou is quite strange. Not only is it name and release in a dead language but it has no real name. I call him by two diffrent titles.I don't even really know his name."
Koga releases a heavy sigh as he finishes.
"But he is far from being a pathetically weak zanpaktou. He is not only my zanpaktou but my mentor."
Koga shunpoes three times.
Once behind,to Kyosuke's left then to his front.
With each shunpoe Koga slashed his sheath sword.

He remains calm and patient while the Squad 12 Captain explains the peculiarity of his Zanpakuto. He noticed how he referred to his weapon by it's gender, deciphering that even though he DID know the weapon's name, he wasn't too familiar with the language. Perhaps this information meant that he and his sword weren't fully in sync, but doubted it considering his status.

As the Captain suddenly vanishes into thin air, Kyousuke bends his arms back to intercept the incoming attack with his Aspauchi blade. However, his movements were too quick; receiving the other 2 blows directlu; one in his left ribcage, the other squarely across his jaw, causing more blood to fly out of his mouth.

One last detail, he never felt the cut of a blade; it was still in the sheath.

'The Captain is merely toying with me...' He concludes, bringing his sword back around to carve right down the middle of the Captain's face...

Koga lifts his zanpaktou to his face to block Kyosuke.
Koga holds his zanpaktou with only his left hand,standing there.
Koga pushed his and Kyosuke's blades upwards by moving his zanpaktou and Spartan kicked with his right leg at Kyosuke's stomach.
"Now common being defensive on me is a bad idea."

Kyousuke stares eye-to-eye with the Captain as their swords meet. He was easily overpowered, but didn't allow himself to remain open for long. As the kick came flying, he breaks away and drops back just out of range. He then raises up his left hand and focuses his reiatsu with some moderate difficulty.

"Hado #1: Sho!" He announces as a pure burst of force rushes at the Captain.
